I knit continental, so that is what I teach. That means I hold the yarn in my left hand and "pick" the yarn rather than holding yarn in my right hand and "throwing". I can demonstrate "throwing" the yarn English style, but when I am knitting, it will be continental.
Masks are required for in-person meetings.
Getting Started - This class will be helping you get started with the Movie Night Wrap. We will be doing the backward cast on, going over SSKPSSO decreases and YO increases, and going over assistance with carrying your color along the side of your wrap. Then we will be working on our Movie Night Wraps at the rest of the Movie Nights of July. Bring movies so we can watch something together!
Class takes place Friday July 7th @5PM. We will all get our wraps started in the class and I will be there each following movie night if you have any questions.
This class is just the beginning of a month long KAL (Knit Along) or Wrap-Along of the Movie Night Wrap. Coming to the Wrapalongs will be free, but to participate you can purchase options listed below:
- Class Original Kit - including Movie Night Wrap Kit in original rainbow colors. (BYO tools)
- Class BYO - BYO Supplies, this is for the help and the pattern only.
- Pattern - Just the pattern. BYO everything else. This is just for the Wrap-Along, NOT the getting started class.
**If you are purchasing the kit option, you need to make sure you pick it up or get it shipped to you in time to wind up at least your first 2 colors. Or you can purchase the Cake Magic level up add on and we will have the first 4 minis wound for you when you arrive.
Wrap-Alongs will take place on Friday evenings in July from 6-8PM. Bring a few movies and we will decide together what we want to watch. I will try to have a few of the movie inspirations from the Wrap ready just in case.
