LAST DAY TO PRE-ORDER is JULY 5th******
**** Preoders are over! Once everything is in stock at the shop, a few extras will be listed.
The PURL Indiana Yarn Crawl is coming!
Here you can pre-order the exclusive colorway, the passport, extras or everything.
This years yarn was dyed by local yarn artist 2 Peas in a Pod. Yarn is sock weight, 100 grams, about 436 yards. 75 % Super wash Merino / 25% Nylon.
Passport holders will receive 10% off their purchases during the crawl along with some crawl swag. Each shop will be giving away 3 $30 gift cards in prizes, winners to be announced at the end of the crawl. There will also be a drawing for one grand prize which includes items from all of the participating shops! To be in the drawing you need to turn your completed card in at your chosen shop. That shop will then draw from cards turned in to them for their prize winners. The cards will have your name and contact info on it.
Each participating shop will be open the crawl dates of August 8-16th for the hours of 10AM - 5PM. Rebel Purl will also be open our regular hours Wednesdays & Thursdays until 8PM.
Yarn will be shipped out after pre-orders have finished. If you choose to pick yours up in the shop, it will be at the store (along with any passport or bonus items you may have purchased and swag) on the first day of the event.
There is an option for a 2025 PURL Yarn Crawl t-shirt this time! And this year Mary will be running a small road trip option - just what I can fit in my car.
Road Trip! If you want to spend your Saturday driving around to all the shops with Mary, this is the option for you. We will meet at Rebel Purl at 9AM and then spend the day stopping by all the shops on the list (starting at Clay Purl, then Shabby Sheep, Yarn Works, Red Hill and Little House of Yarn). Then we will finish up at Rebel Purl. In order to hit all the shops before their closing time, stops will need to be short. You will still need to purchase your passport, yarn, or t-shirt separately. Cost covers ride, water and fuel. We will be stopping for snack/food breaks as we go, so be sure you budget for food or bring a lunch! I will have a cooler in the back in case you want to use that. But the time crunch means we may not time to stop at a restaurant until the end of the day. We did in 2024, but you just never know.
This year we have a bigger lineup of fun shops for you.
- The Clay Purl
- Shabby Sheep & Ewe
- Yarn Works
- Red Hill Fiber
- Little House of Yarn
Here is a link to a Google Map of all the shops!
- ALL shops will be open every day of the crawl from 10-5 and Rebel Purl will be open our usual hours as well.
- Make sure to watch the time zones when you are planning your trip/s.
- Passport can be purchased alone or with the exclusive 2025 crawl yarn. These and additional hanks will soon be available for pre-order. Some shops may have extra passports or yarn hanks available in store.
- Show your passport at purchase for a 10% discount and a stamp from each shop.
- Get all the shop stamps then turn in your completed passport to the store of your choice. Each store will draw for winners of gift cards to that shop and there will be one grand prize winner drawn.
