2026 PURL Indiana Yarn Crawl - August 7-16, 2026

The PURL Indiana Yarn Crawl is coming!  2026 is the 10th year so we have made some changes and we hope you love them.

Here you can pre-order the exclusive 10th anniversary colorway, the passport, extras or everything.  This year things will be going a little bit differently, so please check out the details below!

YARN

This year's yarn was dyed by Indiana yarn artists Brenda & Heather (BAH Yarns). And this year there are 2 base options!

• DK Yarn: Octoply: 100% Superwash Merino, 8-ply cable ply, approx. 275yds/100g
• Fingering Yarn: Sockrates: 75% Superwash Merino/25% Nylon, 4-ply, approx. 460yds/100g

PASSPORTS

Passport holders will receive 10% off select items at each shop during the crawl along with some crawl swag if you pre-ordered your passport. 

Each shop will be giving away 3 $30 gift cards in prizes, winners to be announced at the end of the crawl.

There will also be a drawing for one grand prize which includes items from all of the participating shops!  To be in the grand prize drawing you need to turn your completed card in at your chosen shop.  That shop will then draw from completed cards turned in to them for their prize winners.  The cards will have your name and contact info on it.

To get your passport stamped, just shop at participating stores during the crawl.

THE CRAWL

Crawl dates for 2026 are August 7th-16th.

Each shop will be open their own typical/chosen hours Sunday through Friday.  ALL shops will be open on Saturdays of the crawl from 10AM-6PM.  Watch the PURL Indiana Yarn Crawl on social media for daily updates on store hours and events.

Yarn will be shipped out after pre-orders have finished.  If you choose to pick yours up in the shop, it will be at the store (along with any passport or bonus items you may have purchased and swag) on the first day of the event.

• Shops will be open their own typical/chosen hours with ALL being open from 10AM-6PM on both Saturdays of the crawl.  We will post the hours for all so you can plan your adventure.  Just follow the PURL Indiana Crawl on FB and Instagram.
• Make sure to watch the time zones when you are planning your trip/s.    
• Passport can be purchased alone or with the exclusive 2026 crawl yarn.  These and additional hanks are available for pre-order.   Some shops may have extra passports or yarn hanks available in store.
• Show your passport at purchase for a 10% discount on select items and a stamp from each shop.
• Get all the shop stamps then turn in your completed passport to the store of your choice.  Each store will draw for winners of gift cards to that shop and there will be one grand prize winner drawn.

• Friday August 7th - The Crawl begins!
• Saturday August 8th - OPEN 10AM-6PM
• Sunday August 9th - OPEN 1-5PM - Crafternoon from 2-4PM

• Wednesday August 12th - OPEN 5-8PM, Craft Night 6-8PM

• Friday August 14th - OPEN 1-5PM
• Saturday August 15th - OPEN 10AM-6PM
• Sunday August 16th - OPEN 1-5PM, Crafternoon 2-4PM

Through out the whole crawl Rebel Purl will be collecting food donations for the Community Kitchen.  Please bring in any food or money you would like to add to the donation pile for them.
