Join Rebel Purl's mending specialist and learn how to fill the hole in your sole!
We will cover:
- how to read knitting
- how to identify and pick up damaged stitches with a crochet hook
- how to use a darning egg
- how to use duplicate stitch or Swiss darning to reinforce or rebuild the fabric of your precious hand knit socks.
You will practice with sample knit panels before trying your hand at repairing your own socks.
Knitters of all abilities welcome! All materials provided, and you will have the opportunity to purchase your own darning egg after class. BYO socks that are in need of repair, but if you do not currently have any, there will be extra available for practice
Ages 12 and up welcome - under 18 must attend with an adult.
This class is Saturday April 4thth @11AM. Darning eggs and mushrooms available for purchase after class.

Care information
To retain bright colors, do not store in direct sunlight. Items crafted from this yarn should be handwashed (or machine washed in delicate /handwash cycle) and then either laid flat or hung to dry.
Colors should be bright and permanent, but if you find any of the dye running from your fabric or yarn, soak in hot water with a bit of acid citric acid or vinegar) then rinse well. Do not dry in a machine.
