Intro to Stick Spinning with Malia Jackson - Sun January 5
Stick spinning is a special technique for spinning yarn that keeps your hands, the fiber, and the spindle very close to your body. This means you can spin almost anywhere—sitting in the car, out for a walk, you name it!
You will learn how to spin and ply yarn in this class. The class is welcome to brand new spinners as well as those who are familiar with spinning on a drop spindle or a spinning wheel. The vintage bobbins used for this class may be borrowed during the class or purchased for an additional $10 at the time of the class. Sample fiber is included with the class, and more is available for purchase in the shop.
The class will last two hours.
This class will take place on Sunday January 5th @11AM.
