With a Turkish spindle, spinners can make a 3 ply yarn that comes off the spindle in a ball ready to use, if you wish. Learn this fun technique from the person who developed it! Bring your own fiber or purchase some at the shop. Students must purchase their own Turkish spindle prior to the class (there are many reasonably priced options on Etsy). This is not an introductory spinning class, and participants are expected to know how to spin a single.
Class is BYO supplies - Students must purchase their own Turkish spindle prior to the class (there are many reasonably priced options on Etsy). We do not currently carry these in the shop.
Class will last about 1.5-2 hours followed by craft time so we can help each other get the hang of it if you want to stay.
This class will take place on Saturday January 31st @11AM.
