This classy colorway speckled with deep gold and black was inspired by Marian Anderson. Marian Anderson was a wide-ranging singer, the first black woman to sing at the Metropolitan Opera in 1955, Goodwill Ambassador for the US State Department, delegate for the UN Human Rights Committee and received many medals for both her singing and her activism.
"When you stop having dreams and ideals - well, you might as well stop altogether." - Marian Anderson
